Water-resistant – not waterproof
The built-in membrane of our Winter Explorer makes the shoes water-resistant, so they keep out rain, snow and brief contact with water.
However, they are not waterproof shoes like rubber boots.
If the shoes are exposed to wet conditions for a long time, moisture can gradually get into the material.
For the best protection, we recommend thoroughly waterproofing them before first use.

Sind die Winter Entdecker warm genug für den Alltag?
Ja, für den normalen Winteralltag sind die Winter Entdecker angenehm warm gefüttert und bestens geeignet.
Sie halten Kinderfüße zuverlässig bei Spaziergängen, im Kindergarten oder auf dem Spielplatz warm.
Für stundenlange alpine Abenteuer oder extreme Kälte sind sie jedoch nicht konzipiert.
Sind die Schuhe wasserdicht oder wasserfest?
Unsere Winter Entdecker sind wasserfest, nicht wasserdicht.
Die integrierte Membran schützt zuverlässig vor Regen, Schnee und kurzem Kontakt mit Nässe.
Es handelt sich jedoch nicht um wasserdichte Schuhe wie Gummistiefel.
Bei längerer oder dauerhafter Nässeeinwirkung kann Feuchtigkeit allmählich ins Material eindringen.
👉 Für optimalen Schutz empfehlen wir, die Schuhe vor dem ersten Tragen gründlich zu imprägnieren.
Bis zu welchen Temperaturen sind die Winter Entdecker geeignet?
Die Winter Entdecker sind problemlos bis etwa 0 °C tragbar.
Bereits tausendfach verkauft und im Alltag bewährt – ohne Beschwerden hinsichtlich Kälte.
In Kombination mit warmen Socken bleiben Kinderfüße auch an kalten Tagen angenehm geschützt.
Sind die Schuhe rutschfest?
Ja.
Die rutschfeste Outdoor-Sohle mit griffigem Profil sorgt für sicheren Halt auf Schnee, Matsch und glatten Wegen – ideal für den Winteralltag.
Sind die Winter Entdecker für Kindergarten und Alltag geeignet?
Absolut.
Dank praktischem Klettverschluss können Kinder die Schuhe schnell und selbstständig an- und ausziehen.
Zusätzlich befindet sich auf der Zunge ein Namenslabel, das eine einfache Zuordnung im Kindergarten ermöglicht.
Wie fällt die Passform der Winter Entdecker aus?
Die Schuhe fallen tendenziell etwas größer und breiter aus.
So bleibt genügend Platz für warme Socken und eine natürliche Zehenbewegung – ganz im Sinne eines Barfußschuhs.
